Silk Screen Printing and Ceramic Frit Glass
Silk screen printing applies ceramic frit to glass in dots, lines, gradients or custom patterns. During tempering the frit fuses permanently to the glass surface, so the finish will not peel or scratch off like film. Fritted glass is used for privacy, glare and solar control, branding, decorative facades and bird friendly glass that helps reduce bird collisions.
Applications for Fritted Glass
Common uses include curtain wall and spandrel panels, storefronts, glass railings, partitions, canopies and bird safe glazing on commercial buildings. Fritted panels can also be laminated for safety glazing.
